98 points Tim Atkin, MW (Decanter): "One of the outstanding white wines of the vintage, this comes from a 0.18ha parcel that always seems to produce a brilliant white wine. It's waxy and aromatic, with sappy notes alongside oatmeal, citrus and wet stone. The palate is floral, layered and effortlessly nuanced, the one-third new oak enhancing its complexity. Drink: 2021-2035. (10/27/18)"

95 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "Bright mid primrose. There is a lightly oxidative or is it smokily charred wood aspect to the nose. Assuming this modifies, this will become an excellent Chevalier because the wine displays the racy intensity of the vineyard and excellent persistence. Slight sweet and sour at the moment. (Jul 2021)"
