Chateau Brown lies in the heart of the young Pessac-Leognan appellation created in 1987 by Andre Lurton,a key winegrowing figure in Bordeaux. It is the first estate in the Pessac-Leognan appellation to use Vitinnov,an applied research and training structure specialising in winegrowing,established in 2011.
