A Sicilian Wine Odyssey

 Sicily, the largest island in the Mediterranean Sea, served as a crossroads for ancient civilizations. It has a very long history of viticulture and winemaking, diversified landscapes and micro-climates and countless indigenous grape varieties, almost like a mini-version of Italy!  In this two-hour workshop, we will guide you through a journey on the history, culture, terroir and grape varieties of Sicily and taste 9 high quality wines from five estates under the Tasca d’Almerita group.

Come and explore wines from a range of varieties and styles in great Sicilia, all with Justin Chen – VIA (Vinitaly International Academy) Italian Wine Ambassador and Certified Italian Wine Educator – and get an insider’s look and taste at this beautiful region and its high quality, diverse wines.
